Sleepy

Killer Rock N' Roll Photos. From FlickrBlog.

I could NOT get up this morning. My cats have decided they want out at 5:00 every morning, and it's too cold to leave them outside all night. As soon as it warms up, they're out.

Here is an EXCITING review of Revenge of the Sith by Kevin Smith. It contains SPOILERS. Read at your own risk.
It makes me want to cry with joy.

Bloglines tutoral

I still love bloglines, even though I have way too much news to keep up with now. Here is a great tutorial on the service. I learned a few things myself. If you're interested, here's a public view of my bloglines feeds.

I'm slowly trying to get back in the swing of blogging (not that i've been at it very long anyways...)

Avoiding work...

Now that's funny. Really hilarious. Here is an explanation. Although you may just want to skip it because the picture is much funnier on it's own.

I'm getting all my summer plans laid out. It's looking like no real vacation, with all my time spent staffing Senior Conference 2005 and EYE 2005 (the National Episcopal Youth Event). Since everyone reads this blog, I want to set something straight. EYE is in Berea, KY this year, and it was my idea to have it in Kentucky. I sent the mail to the planning dude after EYE 2002, and that's why it was on the list. I know no credit is coming my way, so I just wanted to get it off my chest :).

In a wonderful turn of events, April is letting me use her ipod since she doesn't listen to it very much. Hooray! I'm still trying to get people to sign up so I can get a free ipod. Seriously, I need two more people. Cut me a friggin' break! I'll get to use April's, but I really want my own. My own free one. Please?

The "HIPAA deadline" has come and gone, and we're still not anywhere near being done. Although now there's no deadline, and no motivation to finish up everything. So i'd say it's working out.

At least it's warming up a bit (although it's hard to tell from the weather of late). The grass is growing like crazy and I have a ridiculous amount of miscellaneous yard work to do. Not to mention devoting every waking moment to showering my wife with affection, and squeezing in a little WoW where I can. Or something like that :).

This blog is sick, but it ain't dead yet

I guess I need to start blogging more often and have shorter posts. Most of my posts have been long and infrequent, which makes it difficult to keep at it. Time has been a commodity lately. It's starting to warm, so yard work season has started (although the days are getting longer, which always gives me a little energy boost). Work is super busy. Mix in WoW and quality time with the wife - that translates into zero time for blogging. Maybe if I had something meaningful to write about...

So the most difficult thing to happen in recent months was the anniversary of a few friends deaths. Two were on February 25th (ten years ago), one was March 6th (one year ago). All three died in car accidents. Death is a shitty thing. Especially the unexpected death of a young person. I miss them all. I guess that's all there really is to say about that. And wear your seat belt.

I'll do a complete 180 now. New Beck album: good. Check it out. It's fairly Odelay-esque, but I liked that album, so that's fine with me. Not a groundbreaking style change like Sea Change, but still good and upbeat. Two thumbs up. I've heard good things about the new Jack Johnson, and there's a new Daft Punk album that is begging to be listened to. More information as details warrant.

Just to follow up, Rojo was kinda gay. I didn't like it nearly as much as Bloglines. Of course, I have way too many RSS feeds to read as it is. I never get through all of them on a regular basis. Another new fascination of mine is podcasting, eventhough I don't have an iPod. Bluggcast provides a flash interface to listen to quite a few, so that's a nice break from listening to music. Geek News Central is pretty addictive, as is the Engadget podcast.

I guess I'll take this opportunity to quit blogging and save a little to write about in a few days. I've got more to say, but I guess I won't drain out everything and be left with nothing to say for two weeks.
