An anonymous reader writes "The BBC is reporting that the Revenge of the Sith is a blood bath and is to recieve a PG-13. One notable point from the article is Lucas is quoted as saying "But I have to tell a story. I'm not making these, oddly enough, to be giant, successful blockbusters. I'm making them because I'm telling a story, and I have to tell the story I intended." As he lit a cigar with a large stack of burning 20's."

Sweet candied yams.

2 WoW patches in two days. I wouldn't mind, except the updater takes FOREVER to touch all the files. C'mon! Lets try to reduce the rye on the wheat toast just a little. Okay?

Rama lama ding dong

I went to see DJ Swamp and Jon Doe at the Dame this weekend. Jon Doe is one of my favorite DJs for the sheer fact that he plays good music. He's a good DJ, and doesn't fuck around playing pointless or boring crap. Unfortunately there was some kind of sound problem on stage, so he was having trouble mixing. Combine that with the fact that there was an unusually small crowd there, so there just wasn't a whole lot of energy in his set. No one was really dancing (although he did play an interesting remix of Hall & Oates' "I Can't Go For That" that I'll have to find). So that was a little disappointing, but oh well. So on came DJ Swamp, from whom I was expecting pimp tricks, scratching, breakbeat, etc. Uhhh... kinda, but not really. Some of the stuff he played was pretty cool, but mostly it was his extremely drunk ass rapping about graveyards and eating dead bodies. He did do a little fireblowing on stage, so that redeemed him a little bit. All in all, a little too metal/goth for a night that was supposed to be hip hop and breakbeat. Condsider yourself warned. DJ Swamp: not really worth the price of admission.

Here's some cool stuff to check out...
