Finally

Sorry for the blogging lapse.  I had problems getting Windows Live Writer to run under Vista RC 2.  Either that, or the version I was running wasn't jiving correctly with some recent Blogger changes.  Just more fuel to try to get my linux server up so I can switch to WordPress, I guess.

Here are some pretty colors

Here is something else kinda cool: Glow in the Dark Hair Gel

RAWK!

Holy Crap I am incredibly excited. Tenacious D, the greatest band on earth, is coming to Atlanta, and I got presale tickets on the floor. My incredibly beautfiul, wonderful wife has graciously allowed me to take some time away from her and our little baby to celebrate my birthday a little early at what will be a veritable smorgasbord for the mind. Since I had been listening to Tenacious D, they have never toured, and I have been waiting for this for a very, very long time. Effing sweet.

By the way, this is cool.

Lexie says hello. She is doing very well. Her stomache has been bothering her a little, and may be left over from the rotavirus immunization. She is getting smarter every day, and is smiling at us all the time. She never fails to cheer me up when I've been having a shitty day.

Two Months and Running

September 28th was Lexie's two month "birthday", and today was her two month checkup with the doctor.  April made a birthday cheesecake and we had another little celebration. It was all very plesant (apart from the shots, but even those weren't that bad).  Lexie did manage to throw up all over me when she was being fed her rotavirus vaccine, but oh well.

The big news is that Lexie is in the 95th percentile for weight and height, and 90th percentile for head size.  She is definitely a growing girl.  She'd gained a pound since she had been at the doctor two weeks ago.  Apparently we have a little weed on our hands.

Don't forget to send Lexie a "Happy Birthday Email" at lexieleigh@gmail.com.
